Ripple 1.0 — Initial release
A shape-able drum synth for iOS — 4-channel sequencer, 4 drum engines, XY morphing, LFO modulation, and effects.
The initial public release of Ripple. Highlights below; see the product page for the full feature tour.
Sequencer
- 16-step drum sequencer with 4 independent channels.
- Per-step velocity (off / medium / full), global swing (25–75%), BPM 60–200.
- Per-channel mute and solo, 20-level undo, randomize and mutate utilities.
- Sample-accurate playback timing via the Rust audio engine.
Drum synthesis
- 4 instrument types — Kick, Snare, Hi-Hat, Tom — assignable to any channel.
- Snare engine exposes 19 parameters (filter modes, phase modulation, overdrive, envelope curves).
- Per-channel tuning across ±12 semitones.
XY blend system
- 2D pad morphs between 4 named preset corners per instrument.
- Per-step blend overrides with visual indicators.
Effects
- Tilt filter, tempo-synced delay, and saturation, each with enable/disable toggles.
LFO modulation
- 4 independent LFO slots with musical timing divisions (4 bars → 1/32 note).
- Curated modulation targets per instrument.
Audio export
- Offline WAV bounce (1–4 bars) with iOS share sheet integration.
